Keeping with South Dallas’ history of organizing into neighborhoods, SDCC organizes into smaller groups we call parish communities. These groups move beyond just Sundays to put their faith into work to serve their neighbors. Led by those who live in the parish, members take spiritual responsibility for their geographic area through loving one another and those who are close through service and stewarding their own resources for the good of all. Each parish aims to reflect the diversity of the area and operates in Family Rhythms. Parish Communities gather monthly together and more frequently in cell groups.
Cell Groups are smaller groups of 3-5 gender specific people that connect for the purposes of encouraging each other with God’s word and the truth of the gospel, confessing sin to one another, and praying for people they are on mission with.
